Vacation - late May / early June 2023

Japan - Tokyo, Mt Fuji restaurants

2 weeks stay in Japan (Tokyo, then 河口湖 to visit the nearby Mt Fuji areas, then back to Tokyo again).

Remarks (June 2023):
12 courses kaiseki. Food was delicious and nicely presented.
Chefs are very friendly, with device to translate the food description. Enjoyable meal.

20 courses dinner. Enjoyable!
The caviar course was a nice surprise! Normally that's in French crusine, not Japanese.
Traditional Japanese is ikura.

Oak Door Bar at Grand Hyatt Hotel (Roppongi, Tokyo, Japan)

Impressive size scallops! Nice light snack with the cocktails.

Ubuya Hotel 河口湖 (Mt Fuji, Japan)

Remarks (May/June 2022):
During my stay at Ubuya hotel (河口湖 Mt Fuji Japan) in late May/early June 2023, dinner at the hotel has 4 choices: kaiseki wagyu beef, kaiseki tempura, shabu-shabu wagyu beef, shabu shabu red sea bream.
I have tried all of them during my stay. I like the kaiseki, the presentation was good. For better privacy, I chose private dining room for most of the days.
As for breakfast, it's different everyday, but I was too lazy, only tried 2 breakfasts.
